Onsite Engineering established business in Warkworth around 15 years ago and in that time we have grown as a business and have watched our neighbourhood grow with us. We believe in supporting our local community and the many worthy causes within it. We try to do our bit and help where we can. Here are some of our contributions.
Just wanted to say a BIG thank you to you and your team, but especially to Onsite Engineering, Subway and Oasis. We thoroughly enjoyed our shout last Friday. After getting stuck in to the food after you went and having plenty left over, we invited the rest of our team from the Orewa office down. They arrived at 3.00 and that was that as far as work was concerned! It was just what we all needed and as I said, a lovely way to start the weekend.
Many thanks again
Kaye

Sparks were flying in Warkworth on Saturday at a “walk in and weld out” day held by Onsite Engineering.
People were invited to bring in broken items to be fixed by a team of welders, in return for a donation to the new Mahurangi College auditorium.
Many braved rain to finally fix objects that had been lying around in sheds, cupboards and garages. Some of the more unusual items fixed included a rabbit cage, a gokart axle, a cast iron flower pot and an exercise machine.
While their repair jobs were in progress, customers enjoyed burgers, cakes, biscuits and coffee on sale, and prizes were given for the smallest weld, quickest fix and most unusual weld. The day was also supported by Times FM, which broadcast live from the workshop.
More than $1000 was raised and close to 40 repairs done.
“They all did a tremendous job and I know I speak for the parent, teacher association and the board in saying well done and thank you so much,” Mahurangi College Parent Teacher Association chairwoman Katie Mitchell says.
“We greatly appreciate the assistance of Onsite Engineering in raising funds for a facility that we and the community can be proud of for many years to come,” college principal David McLeod says.
The event was the idea of local graphic design and advertising agency Brighter.
“At a time when many of us cannot afford to buy new things, it seems obvious to get those old things fixed and raise money for a good cause at the same time,” says Brighter Design creative director Phil Roberts.
To the team at Onsite Engineering
Here is a short note to say a big thank you to you all. It’s not something that happens everyday: asking a business to come along to quote for a job and getting it done for free, no strings attached. So the mums and kids at our playcentre think your team are just brilliant!
The ramp means Tiana’s mum can get in and out of the centre easily and safely which is wonderful.
Here are a couple of photos. The little girl is Tiana (2) whose Mum the hand-rail is for. The other photo shows Sam (3) and Tiana demonstrating how not to use a safety hand-rail!
Thank you all once again.
Meillia Kee on behalf of all the families at Warkworth Playcentre.
